Red Lily Pond Project will sponsor a solemn procession of kayaks and canoes, sporting lights on their bows, in our beloved Lake Elizabeth, with Italian music wafting over the waters.
Snacks and beverages available starting at 7:00 p.m. along Lake Elizabeth Drive between Clark Avenue and Patterson Circle (street closed to traffic). Parade of kayaks begins at sunset (about 8:00 p.m.).
Rain date Sunday, August 7 (decision to postpone will be made by 10:00 a.m. Friday, and announced by email blast).
